La Pampa, land of infinite horizons

Departure in the early morning to Victorica, first town founded in La Pampa in 1882, when the Ranqueles inhabited the area.

You will visit Leuvu Co, sacred site, original place of the tomb of the great chief Panghitruz Güor, known as Mariano Rosas. His grave was desecrated by the army and its remains were sent to the Museum of Natural Sciences of La Plata. After 123 years, the remains of the chief were restored to their original burial place.

The experience continues with a country lunch at Estancia La Holanda, where you will enjoy an encounter with the  rural culture and nature of this area. You will also visit the atelier, that is today the Museum of the painter Antonio Ortiz Echagüe.

In the early morning departure on an excursion to the area of Guatraché to visit the Mennonite Colony. On this day you will travel to the past, because the Mennonite settlers live attached to the traditions and culture typical of the sixteenth century.

You will visit its cheese, metallurgical and carpentry factories. You will discover their way of life influenced by religion. You will share a lunch with a family.

You will explore on this day the Lihue Calel National Park. Located 220km from Santa Rosa on RN 152 retracing the Chilean rake, you will circulate an old route of aboriginal trade. Within the National Park you will find vestiges of the aboriginal settlement and archaeological sites with cave paintings, with a predominance of geometric figures in Red and Black.

You will do a  trek to the cave paintings, and in the way, you will make a stop at Chenque, an aboriginal cemetery.

Before returning to Santa Rosa, you will ascend to the Cerro de la Sociedad Científica Argentina at 590 meters above sea level
