Overview

DAY 1 Car rental and cooking class in Yaguareté Corá

Arrival at Corrientes Airport on the first flight in the morning. You will pick your rental car and depart to Concepción del Yaguareté Corá (approx. 200 km).

Arrival to the town and accommodation.

In the afternoon, you will pursue a cooking Workshop with the Iberá Cooks Network to learn about local flavors. You will get to know the value of traditional foods and recipes and share with the locals the history and gastronomic culture, mainly marked by the Guaraní culture.

Then, you will go back to your hotel.
DAY 2 Visit to Ibera Marshlands

Early departure on an excursion to the Iberá Marshlands. You will discover its channels, watch animals and contemplate the flora and its peaceful sounds. Return to the town.

In the afternoon, you will do a ride through the town to visit an indigenous community that will allow you to discover the rural life of Corrientes, its traditions and culture.
DAY 3 The Ibera Marshlands in deep

Departure in the morning on an excursion to the Esteros del Iberá, to embark on a canoe and navigate the paths of the Portal Carambola. Part of this tour is done in a boater canoe and another in a horse-girthed canoe, the way the islanders originally traveled. During this tour,you will be able to see wildlife and enjoy the landscapes of the Esteros.

In the afternoon, you will return to the hotel.
DAY 4 Mburucuyá National Park

Early departure on an excursion to the Mburucuya National Park. This park offers the possibility of spotting flora and fauna of the region, together with the guide you will walk through the different trails to discover it.

In the afternoon, you will return to the hotel.
DAY 5 End of your trip

Departure to the Corrientes Airport, where you will return the vehicle.
